Remember...

If a friend trusts you and shares with you about their assault - listen, believe, affirm what happened, verbalize that it wasn't their fault and they didn't deserve it. Ask what would be most supportive for them now. Encourage them to reach out for additional support. If it has been less than a week, recommend going to the hospital for a Sexual Assault Evidence Kit (SAEK). The hospital will also provide support and resources for those victims. Remember to seek support for yourself as well to help process the weight of what you've just heard and experienced.

Stay Connected...

We would love to stay connected to you all going forward and be a resource that you and your loved ones can turn to.
